What is Litreeracy about?

Litreeracy was conceived by brothers Fabio do Carmo, software engineer, and Evandro do Carmo, web developer, mainly motivated by their interest and curiosity in systematically identifying the lexicon (vocabulary) of extensive texts, books and articles for academic and languages studies.

Litreeracy is a system which enables different views of a text content, or a whole corpus, allowing researchers and readers make analysis of the vocabulary and distribution of the words permeating the content.

The Word Cloud View aligned with the Occurrences View define possible themes of the text content and show vocabulary sequencing, or "author’s memory accesses", of significant terms and meanings from analyzed text.

The graphics show statistics of the terms and words used into the text, which the distribution presents how the "scenes of the text" were established.

The TreeOverview is a representation of the different text densities applied during the text construction.

With the Keyword View it is possible to select the terms which better represent the meaning analyzed into the text.
