Concepts and Development
Litreeracy system development based its views on Noam Chomsky’s concepts of linguistic performance and competence, mainly to show through the text data what would be the "author’s memory access" or the vocabulary sequencing for the text content creation. In other words, the Litreeracy methodology presents lexical sequencing and statistical views from analyzed content showing the use of significant terms and words in its construction.
The pre-semantic algorithm of the Litreeracy system runs a computational and statistical analysis of the vocabulary, generating new modes of textual visualization from the quantified data. In this way, its computational model works in accordance with the principles of Jean-Paul Benzécri's Data Analysis, in particular, the principle that states "the models should follow the data, not vice versa".
